  • The most basic variety of chicken thighs to use is the ones that are skinless and boneless. You can also use chicken breasts, but be aware that they cook even faster, so keep an eye on them and adjust the cooking time appropriately.
  • You do need both butter and olive oil. Butter adds even more flavor to the sautéed garlic while oil keeps the chicken from sticking to the pan and produces a gorgeous golden crust.
